Ontario Products Hit Prime Time at Leading Industry Tradeshow
Ontario is leading the way at the 2013 Canadian Restaurant and Foodservice Association (CRFA) Tradeshow with a dedicated pavilion showcasing the very best in local food offerings.
Brought together by Ontariofresh.ca, the Pavilion hosts a range of products including fresh fruit and vegetables, ready-made condiments and sauces, micro-brewed beer, breads, meats and more. These products will help meet the growing consumer interest in local food and get more Ontario products on restaurant menus and in foodservice operations across the country.
“Every year, the demand for local food and beverages tops the must-have lists of premiere chefs and consumers who love what they create,” said Megan Hunter, Program Manager for Ontariofresh.ca. “The Ontario Pavilion is the one-stop shop for anyone looking for diverse, high-quality products that they can use in foodservice right away.”
The Pavilion features a live demonstration stage using food products from our local partners served up by Food Network Star Anna Olson and budding chefs from George Brown College’s Culinary Arts program. An Innovation Exhibit will also showcase a series of exciting new products ready for the market.
As Canada’s foremost foodservice and hospitality event, the CRFA tradeshow attracts more than 12,000 industry professionals. The Ontario Pavilion is the largest at the Show and promises to give great visibility to the producers and processors involved.
