Greenbelt Fund session – “Building the Industry: Paths to Commercialization” at the March 2-3, 2017 Food and Beverage Convention hosted by Agri-Food Management Institute and Innovate Niagara.
On March 3, 2017, the Greenbelt Fund, in collaboration with Food Starter and other organizations, will be hosting a session on ‘Building the Industry: Paths to Commercialization’ at the Food and Beverage Convention. The session will discuss what is needed to support Ontario businesses to scale up.
The session will also explore strategies to establish a network of food and beverage entrepreneurs, start-ups, food hubs or aggregators, food accelerators, incubation hubs, commercial kitchen businesses, small and medium sized businesses and other food and beverage companies. This workshop will explore the challenges faced by organizations that support food start-ups, and investigate the role a coordinated network could play in overcoming barriers.
